All around- best steak house! Their old fashioned atmosphere is a perfect pairing with their deliciously cooked steaks. They're cooked perfect every time and masterfully seasoned. I haven't had a bad thing on the menu, but I feel like if you've made the trip, you need the prime rib. It's top notch! It all pairs well with green beans or spaghetti, choice of potato, and the bread brought to the table. The servers, bartenders, and hostess are always nice and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of reconnecting with some of my former coworkers, and we decided to meet up at Farmer's, an old-school steakhouse they frequent monthly. They do not take reservations but once you put in your name head to the lounge and take a seat. They make stiff drinks, which I do appreciate. The service was amazing! I typically get a filet or prime rib. I decided to get the filet and it was so tender and juicy. I'm a meat and potatoes gal so I had to go with the mashed potatoes, also incredible. And the spaghetti with it, chefs kiss! My picture doesn't do justice. I will definitely be back!

The food was outstanding. I had the mid size cut of prime rib and my wife had a smaller steak. The food was great, the sides good sized. The service was outstanding. The young lady serving us said she was the newest waitress at 5 years. The place has the feel of a family owned place. Chelsea was our waitress and she was amazing.

I've been coming out to Farmer Browns since I was a kid, and I remember it being a very special occasion place. It's dark and cozy, and feels like a real family run business. Im glad theyve been around so long as it's definitely earned a nostalgic badge in my book. My most recent experience was with them at Junkstock. We got the steak sandwich and oh em gaahh it was so good. The bread was moist and chewy, despite the heat it wasn't dried out. The meat was incredible! The au ju to dip it was such a nice complement. All in all great food and I look forward to taking my kids and beginning a new tradition.

Great food and service with an old school steakhouse atmosphere. Becky was our waitress and she was great. Very friendly and attentive. The prime rib was excellent; tender and flavorful. I got the farmer's cut and it was huge! I recommend asking for a side of au jus for dipping. The prime rib was seasoned. I did notice on the menu seasoning for steaks should be requested, if desired. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portions of food. This is not a fancy place, but it's a staple in the area. The restaurant is comfortable and casual, and the food and service are really great. My family got there right before they opened at 5pm on a Friday and there was already a decent line waiting to get in. We were able to be seated immediately once they opened. It's a nice little road trip from the CB/Omaha area and worth it for a great meal!

Christmas dinner at Farmer Browns. Prime rib daughters cut. Added horseradish to kick it up a notch. Tender and delicious. For the money hard to find a better meal. Perfect hash browns and spaghetti sides. Everyone in our party had different items such as petit filet, chopped steak, prime rib sandwich, and big chicken salad. All were fantastic. Highly recommend this Omaha landmark restaurant.

Born and raised in Nebraska. It's almost unbelievable that I am plant-based about 95% of the time. When I let myself out of plant, jail, prime rib is one of my all-time favorites. And Farmerbrown does it better than anyone. Check out this almost 4 pound prime rib. Farmhand end cut, extra cut. I left at the green beans instead of the spaghetti. My mother is crazy about the spaghetti I loved dipping, the hashbrowns and the Au Jus!!! They also provided fresh ground horseradish, and some blue cheese crumbles with an extra side of AU Jus!!! People literally thought it was a large piece of chocolate cake being delivered to our table!!! This place has always been amazing and it never disappoints!
